BUDDHA AVALOKITESHVARA - BUDDHA OF COMPASSION

Avalokiteshvara is the Bodhissatva who most embodies compassion. He holds a jewel at his heart symbolising the deep love and respect he has for his spiritual guide. In his left hand, he holds a lotus showing that he's broken free from all obstacles to lasting happiness. The crystal mala in his right hand represents his ability to rescue all living beings from their suffering. His main purpose is to listen to the cries of help from those in difficulty and provide them with aid.

A serene and peaceful aura surrounds this Buddha and it would make a real impact as an ornament - or even situated in a private place to aid with meditation and contemplation. Hand painted cold cast bronze / resin.
