Ajax, one of the great heroes of the Trojan war and noted in Homer's Iliad for his abundant strength and courage, is described as being of great stature with a colossal frame. He is considered to be the second greatest warrior after his cousin Achilles and as such, was the one who carried the hero's dead body back to the camp after the fatal wounding.

This stunning marble bust has been faithfully reproduced from the original and has been hand crafted using 90% white Italian Carrara marble giving it an authentic look and feel and is as close as you can get to the hand carved original.
