Lucius Verus, Emperor of the Roman Empire between AD 161 until his death from the plague in 169., was a well educated man and an active participant in military and political affairs. He had a colourful personality and is reputed to have been one of the most handsome of emperors with luxuriant sculpted hair and beard.

This stunning bonded marble bust has been hand crafted using 90% white Italian Carrara marble giving it an authentic look and feel. It is a faithful reproduction and is as close as you can get to the hand carved original. This study of Emperor Verus forms part of our new range of some the finest reproduction marble sculptures available today.
