DIONYSUS AND COMPANION (after L Clerici 1882 approx)

Clerici is a listed sculptor who specialised in sculpting busts and mythological subjects and here, we have Dionysus, god of wine and entertainment who is depicted with vines around his head, together with his female companion. Made using 90% white Italian Carrara marble giving it an authentic look and feel, it's as close as you can get to the hand carved original - both to the eye and to the touch. Dionysus and Companion forms part of our new collection of some of the finest reproduction marble sculptures available today.
