THE RED DANCER - F. PREISS A heavy, hot cast bronze (no resin) Art Deco styled sculpture created using the lost wax method and mounted on a dark and light green veined solid marble base. There is a foundry stamp and the number 22 carved into the base of the bronze. A true replica of the original piece created by German sculptor Ferdinand Preiss who commands huge respect in the art world for his attention to detail - especially women's faces - and for producing works full of elegance and character.
