First discovered in Canada in the 16th Centurty and taking its name from the Labrador peninsula, Labradorite is prized for its fascinating play of colour which shows vivid flashes of blue, gold and green.

Labradorite has many qualities other than just being beautiful to look at. It is thought to be an excellent protector of the aura and works by deflecting unwanted, negative energies thereby helping to reduce stress and anxiety to those nearby.
