Frédéric Chopin was a Polish composer and virtuoso pianist of the Romantic period and is widely regarded as one of the world's greatest composers for piano. In 1831, he moved from Poland to Paris where he mixed with artists and other distinguished company and achieved celebrity status. Before long he was earning a handsome income teaching piano to affluent students from all over Europe and giving a few public performances. Hand crafted using 90% white Italian Carrara marble giving it an authentic look and feel. It's as close as you can get to the hand carved original – to both the eye and the touch.
